We value doing life in community. Our Community Groups are open, growing groups that meet throughout Gqeberha during the week. They provide a space to build lasting relationships, explore who God is, and discover what it means to follow Him. Everyone is welcome—there are no prerequisites to join.
As groups grow, they naturally multiply, creating more opportunities for connection and new people to get involved. Community groups help us stay accountable, deepen our faith, and experience spiritual growth together as we walk with Christ.

MEET OUR
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
MARC HEMMENS is husband to Debbie and father to Anthony, Jodie, and Sarah. He has loved watching God guide each of them on their own unique journeys of faith.
He leads the community group ministry, preaches, and serves in several pastoral roles. Debbie and he are passionate about building strong marriages and dream of a multi-cultural church and society where honour, respect, and devotion to Jesus shape every relationship.
He loves Lighthouse for the way the church pursues God in the fullness of His Spirit, while keeping laughter, joy, and community at the heart of everything. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and soaking in moments of everyday life.
